It is possible that some people may wonder why it would be important to trouble self to get hold of records that are not relevant any more. In as much as they would seem irrelevant, you would note that there are certain conditions that would demand you have them. Like, you would be in need of getting into another marriage; you need to prove that you have actually ended the previous marriage.

When there is no documentation, it may not be possible to prove that. So, you may have to get to the divorce records and see where you would trace and print the divorce document that shows you are through with previous marriage. Certainly, your bride or groom would want to be sure.

Alternatively, you could be having some debts that you would be indebted to pay for a spouse but you would be free when you do not hold on to the union again. You would need to prove that you are not married to the other party before a court of law so that you are set free.

Then, you would need to make use of the public divorce records so that you trace the kind of information that you need. It is not true unless there is adequate documentation and what would prove that in a divorce set up?
