I Took Classes to Learn about Coax Cables and Tilt Mounts
I took a class at the local technical school that offers night classes. I wanted to learn how to do some new cool computer networking things. I thought maybe it would help me get a job easier if I had a little background on some of the items they used too. So, I was taking classes and trying to teach myself from the internet also. I studied coax cables for about a week to learn the ins and outs of what it does and how to install it properly. I then studied Tilt Mounts for about two weeks to learn what they exactly do and how to trouble shoot any problems with them. My course at the local technical school lasted about six months and we discussed coax cables during the second month and I knew almost everything they taught me. Then during the fourth month we went over tilt mounts, and I knew a lot but learned a lot more from my instructor. We were able to have hands on experiences with most of the items, so that helped with my confidence level. I applied with ten different companies after I completed the course and had two interviews before getting hired.
