We Used Light Sticks on Halloween
My kids wanted to have light sticks to carry when they went trick or treating this year, and I had trouble locating them in the local stores. My boss told me that his wife had once used an online company to buy some cheap glow bracelets for their daughter’s school and he thought that they might also have light sticks.
He called and got the name of the company from his wife and then I jumped online to see if they had them first, and second, to see if we could get them here in time. Halloween was only a weeks away and I did not want to let the kids down. I was happy to find that this particular company did sell the light sticks and that they would ship them overnight to me for a minimal charge.
The kids were excited to get ready into their costumes on Halloween and they kept talking about all of the candy that they were going to get that night. I handed them each their light sticks and felt like they were a little safer because of them.
I called and thanked my boss’s wife for giving me the name of the company that she had used for the cheap glow bracelets and told her how much fun the kids had the night before when they were trick or treating.
