While thumbing through the yellow pages looking for a general contractor in Chicago, I found too many to list. So, I decided to go online and try and narrow the search by typing in remodelers in River Forest. This helped me to find the general contractor in Chicago that I wanted to use for my home remodeling project. I called two of the companies and told them what I wanted to have done. They agreed to come out at different times of course and give us an estimate to replace the windows in our house. I thought that if we replaced the windows then we would be saving on our energy bill and be improving the look of our home. The first general contractor came out on Tuesday and discussed everything and gave us a quote that was within our price range but we still had one more company coming. On Wednesday the other remodelers in River Forest that I had spoken with came out and made us feel very comfortable with everything they would be doing. The second companies estimate was a little bit more than the first companies but I felt more comfortable with the second so that is who we hired. They started the work the following week and finished ahead of schedule which was very surprising. I would not hesitate to hire this general contractor in Chicago again.
