For four years now, I have been the one in the office fixing the servers every time they go down. If I cannot fix them then I have to call in other computer server technicians and we figure out the problem together. My boss does not like it when we have to call in backup but there is no other way to fix the very old ancient dinosaur servers that he insists on keeping.

I have found numerous companies that sell used servers for really low prices and every time that I give them to him, he just tells me that our servers are just fine. I have even gotten one of the distributers to agree to give us a free sixty day trial with no money down, they will come in and install the used poweredge servers and he will not go for it.

I am wondering what it will take for him to see that he is losing money with the old servers. He has to pay me overtime on the days when I have to stay and fix them, he has to pay technicians if I cannot figure it out and he loses money in sales when they go down. I have no idea what else can change his mind to buy some new used poweredge servers.
