My father always told me that there is no shame in selling things around the house to make ends meet and since I am selling off his gold coin collection to pay for a new transmission for my car, I hope that he meant it. When I had no other choice a friend of mine suggested that I look into selling gold online. I told her that I only had my wedding ring and I was not going to sell it, not to mention that it cannot be worth too much.

She walked over to my dad’s gold coins and told me that you can sell gold coins, not just jewelry. I had never thought of it before, that collection was my father’s pride and joy and I was happy when he passed it on to me. I always thought that I would pass it on to my children some day but since I had decided to not have children, I thought that to sell gold coins to help me out would be a great idea.

If I can make even just half of the amount of the transmission repair bill then I will be thrilled. That means that by selling gold online, I need to make about fifteen hundred dollars. It should be very doable since there are over two hundred coins in this collection.
