I decided when I was in college, to start up an online company that offered SEO services. I could work right from my dorm and I had enough friends who also knew the business, to help me out here and there if I got too many orders. I subbed out all the link building requests, to fellow classmates and it worked out fine.

I kept up with all the clients for about a year and then the amount of clients, somehow seemed to double overnight. I had to enlist the help of many friends who worked some long hours and still kept up their schoolwork. We were rolling in the money and the work just kept pouring in. In fact, there were five of us, who rented an apartment for the summer, to strictly work in. We set up all of our equipment in the living room and hired a secretary to sort through everything and take phone calls and respond to emails.

If anyone would have told me that my little college company that I started up in my dorm would turn into such a big corporation, I would have never believed them. We do everything in house now, including all the link building. We have spread to four other cities and I have great employees working for every single one.
